"Must See" Times Two
Michael Yon speaks to the MSM's way of reporting. Michael Ware and Nick Robertson try to defend it. Hugh Hewitt doesn't buy it.
Reporters are second only to politicians in talking and saying nothing IMO.
Something I want to bring to your attention is Deborah Scranton's film The War Tapes.
"In March 2004, just as the insurgent movement strengthened, several members of one National Guard unit arrived in Iraq, carrying digital video cameras.
THE WAR TAPES is the movie they made with Director Deborah Scranton and a team of award-winning filmmakers. It’s the first war movie filmed by soldiers themselves on the front lines in Iraq..."
The film is being released this summer. The premiere will be at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 29th in New York City.
Deborah posts in her blog:
"THE WAR TAPES will have its international premiere April 29th at 3pm in the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Its really important to me that Charlie Company be there to share in this, so we've gotten some free tickets for any Charlie Company member and a guest set aside. If you are interested you need to email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible and ask for a ticket for yourself and a guest.
Please, please pass this around because I don't know how to get in touch with everyone in the entire company!
This is a BIG deal! This screening at Tribeca will be extraordinary -- sign up soon!"
I'm looking forward to this one!!
