Collection For Iraqi School Children

TJ over at Basic Training posts:

"Collection for Iraqi school children in Abu Ghraib

I cannot ask for anything for myself here, but our brigade is collecting for elementary school children in Abu Ghraib. Abu Ghraib is not just a prison, it is a very large neighborhood in our area of operations. The Iraqi Army in cooperation with the 1st Bragade, 10th Mountain Division will be distributing. As common as they are in America, most of these items are not so easily found here.
I thank you in advance for your help.

ATTN: elementary school collection

Pre-package each set in some sort of bag if you can:
12 colored pencils
1 pencil sharpener
1 plastic zipper pocket
12 #2 pencils
1 safety scissors
1 composition book (~150 pages)
1 package loose leaf paper (~150 pages)
4 pocket folders
1 ruler, 12 inch/30 cm
1 eraser
assorted stuffed toys or similar (small)
Also any kind of warm clothes, coats, shoes, etc. will be accepted."

Please see if you can help out the brigade with their collection for the kids. Imagine being able to go to school but not having any paper or pencils. Plus, it's getting cold there now and they don't have much.
Don't our Troops just keep making us so damn Proud?!
And go over and say hi to TJ ~ he has a great blog. Thanks!
